Depending on the number of lights in your sets and the distance in feet each set covers will have to be determined before you plan the electrical supplies. In some cases you can run the power from each corner and just meet in the center of the house. The new UL listing suggest that you only plug 3 sets end to end.

As far as the power requirements for mini lights most home owners have plenty of power. One 20-amp circuit will power up to 4400 mini lights. So if you are using an 18-gauge wire and quick connectors you will be able to power off this one cord 15 sets of 100 lights each
